As part of Berlin Art Week, we are opening twice: on 11.9.2024 at Haus am Waldsee with This Causes Consciousness to Fracture - A Puppet Play, a large-scale solo exhibition throughout the house of Vienne’s anthropomorphic figures and puppets, and on 12.9. at the Georg-Kolbe-Museum with I know that I can double myself, in which Gisèle Vienne works enter into dialogue with puppets by female artists of the Avant-Garde. The artist talk with Gisèle Vienne and Florentina Holzinger awaits you at Sophiensæle on 15 September, following a screening of her film Jerk. The performances of Crowd will also take place at Sophiensælen from November 14-16, 2024. They will be accompanied by a workshop on movement and cinematographic writing with the dancers of the Compagnie DACM/Gisèle Vienne.
