Performing Arts Festival Berlin 2018
June 05 – 10
Berlin’s Independent Performing Arts Community Invites You To Attend More Than 140 Productions!
Berlin is envied worldwide for its sheer number of theaters. The lion’s share of these are stages and artists working within the independent performing arts community and its tremendous creative potential: at times raw and unfinished, at times full of glitter and dripping with pathos, at times chock full of anarchist humor. For six days, the Performing Arts Festival serves as a window to the vital independent performing arts community! It takes place at more than 60 performance venues all over the city and presents working in every genre imaginable: from theater to performance, puppet theater and music theater, dance theater, installations as well as new circus and site-specific work. From Wagner’s Siegfried to Rio Reiser, world history or family drama, political content on a high wire act, Dadaism and quite tone – at large institutions on small stages, or at the bus stop. Check out the schedule of programming and get into the theaters!
You can find the complete schedule of programming, a variety of ancillary options as well as all tickets at: www.performingarts-festival.de
The Berlin Performing Arts Festival is organized by LAFT – Landesverband freie darstellende Künste Berlin e. V. in cooperation with the performance venues HAU Hebbel am Ufer, SOPHIENSÆLE,
