Schattentrilogie

The three installation performances by Naoko Tanaka – Die Scheinwerferin (2011), Absolute Helligkeit (2012) and Unverinnerlicht (2015) – move within the borders of visual arts and scenic installation. A small source of light sets the room in movement and creates a fantastic game of shadow and light, melodious memory and dream landscapes. Through her series Tanaka has created her own performance format in which visual art is choreographed. After the Berlin premiere and touring internationally, the three pieces can now be seen altogether for the first time!
