Kareth Schaffer + Rike Flämig
Kareth Schaffer (1987, USA/NL), is a choreographer and performer. She practices an extended concept of choreography: to date she has scrutinized mudslinging, synchronized swimming, prophecies, film soundtracks, Angela Merkel and conversational formats. As a performer she works for deufert&plischke, Tino Sehgal, Dragana Bulut, and Yvon Chabrowski among others.
RIKE FLÄMIG (*1978, Leipzig) is a performer and choreographer who creates performative spaces for collective experiences with site-specific and documentary works. She studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim and as a guest at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht. As a performer, she is currently working for Saša Asentić on Tanz in der DDR: Was bleibt?. www.rikeflaemig.de
