Yael Ronen & Irina Szodruch

Yael Ronen is a playwright and director and was born and raised in Israel and has been living and working in Berlin since 2013. She was a director in residence at Maxim Gorki Theater for the past 10 years, where she collaborated with the ensemble to create award-winning shows such as Common Ground, The Situation, Roma Army, or Slippery Slope. Currently, she is working at Schaubühne Berlin (where she previously created Third Generation in 2009) and she will continue to produce shows in various German as well as international theaters. She is a mother of a son and three cats.
