Jule Flierl, Luise Meier oder Vera Pulido
Jule Flierl is an artist from Berlin/Germany who works with choreography and the voice. Using choreography and somatic singing methods, her scores unsettle the relationship between seeing and hearing: what you see is not always what you hear, and what you hear is not always what you see. She worked as a Gogo dancer, played the female lead in the feature film Führer Ex, studied contemporary dance at SEAD-SALZBURG and choreography with EXERCE Montpellier. She has worked with Christine Borch, Martin Nachbar, Ibrahim Quarishi, Gintersdorfer/Klaßen, Sergiu Matis, Tino Sehgal and Meg Stuart. In her lecture performance I intend to sing she reflects on her practice and opens historical references to former vocal dancers. She teaches the workshop Inner Soundtracking and works as a voice coach. Her most recent work Störlaut toured to Brussels, Paris, Vienna, Leipzig, Valenciennes, Nantes and Berlin. She earned her the title "Hoffnungsträgerin 2018" from Tanz-Magazin.
LUISE MEIER, born in 1985 in East Berlin, is a freelance author, drop-out, waitress, performer and dramaturge. She studied philosophy, cultural studies, literature and social and cultural anthropology in Berlin and Frankfurt (Oder). In 2018, her book "MRX Maschine" was published by Matthes & Seitz Berlin. Luise Meier has also published essays on capitalism, the women's movement, The Brothers Karamazov, Drones, Terror, Rosa Luxemburg, Valeska Gert, and others for the Volksbühne Berlin, Freitag, jungle.world or Theater der Zeit and the Berliner Zeitung. She regularly works on projects with the artist/performer/choreographer/dancer Jule Flierl and with andcompany&Co. http://www.luisemeier.com/
