Tara Fatehi & Pouya Ehsaei
Tara Fatehi works across performance, voice, movement and writing engaging with ambiguity, mistranslation, unfinishedness, and messy narratives and gestures found and lost in everyday life. Tara has performed at the V&A Museum, Royal Academy of Arts, Nottdance, Chapter and Edinburgh Horizon among others. Tara’s Mishandled Archive is 365 days of dispersing a family archive in public space through dance and photographs, performed internationally and published as a book (LADA, 2020). Always Already is an 8-hour movement and voice duet with Karen Christopher. As a performer Tara has recently worked with Hooman Sharifi and Teatro O Bando.
Pouva Ehsaei is an electronic musician, producer, radio host and curator. Pouya's music involves experimenting with different compositional and sound synthesis techniques to create a sonic passage through hypnotic soundscapes, industrial beats, epic soundscapes, fractal polymeric rhythms, and pulsating hard-hitting sub frequencies. Pouya has released two solo albums There (2014) and RocRast (2020) and two albums with his band Ariwo. He performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Southbank Centre and Bozar as well as festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, Womex, Womad, Fusion, Bahidora, Manana, Boomtown, Shambala and Linecheck.
